Junior Kerra Butler scored the 1000th point of her career leading Hebron in an 80-22 win over South Gwinnett at the Parkview Tipoff Classic Monday at Parkview. Hebron continued its dominance over fellow Gwinnett County opponents with Butler leading the way scoring 13 points, while grabbing six rebounds, dishing four assists and recording four steals on her big night. Amiya Porter was Hebron’s leading scorer putting up 14 points to go with three assists. Nicky Daniel is the only other Lion to score in double figures as she put up 11 points and had three assists. Aubrey Beckham had nine points, and three steals for the Lions while Mia James scored eight points and had four assists. Camryn Register added seven points and three steals as Danielle Osho chipped in six points and five boards. Hebron is now 5-0 on the year while South Gwinnett drops to 2-2. The team will have a few days off to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and won’t return to action until Friday, December 1st. Class AAAA No. 5 ranked Trinity Christian (4-0) will travel from Sharpsburg to Dacula in a battle of ranked, undefeated Lions. Should be entertaining. Tipoff is 5:30 PM at Lions Arena.
